When the company was founded in 1956 as a division of Indian Head Industries, MGM Brakes was surrounded by fierce competition. Over the decades that followed, MGM Brakes' unique approach to innovation and commitment to expansion enabled the brand to branch out into the bus, truck, trailer, military, and vocational markets. This expansion continues even today, with the company constantly on the hunt to add new locations and services to its portfolio.
As of early 2020, MGM Brakes has been servicing the US and Canada, Asia, most of Europe, and all of Central and South America through one major headquarters and several worldwide offices.
