Chelsea 249 and 249 "V" Series for Ford Super Duty vehicles. Chelsea patented reduced noise solution that set the truck industry standards for “Quiet” Power Take-Off operation. Used on Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks with diesel engine (F-350/450/550) and gas engine (F-650) and TORQSHIFT 6 transmission.

The new concept reduces the torsional noise levels that are found on most PTO applications for these trucks. This unique patent pending design concept will provide you with a PTO that is best in class for reduced noise when installed on the new TorqueShift™ 6 Automatic Transmission. The combination of the Chelsea 249 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) and the new Ford Transmission provide you with an unprecedented torque capacity of 200 lbs-ft matched with a wide selection of pump sizes, both gear and vane pump options, are designed to provide you with maximum flow rates. This PTO and pump package, both gear and vane, will cover your tough application requirements. The 249 Series also provides you ease of installation through a single hose connection and an integrated cartridge valve and pressure switch helping to reduce your installation time.
