Gloves
SAS Safety Corp gloves provide exceptional protection against chemicals, cuts and abrasion, electrocution, and biological contamination. These gloves are also built to give users optimum grip, comfort, and fit and are available in various materials and designs.
Disposable gloves. SAS Safety Corp manufactures latex, nitrile, and vinyl disposable gloves ranging from 4 mil to 4 mil in thickness. The gloves are designed to have a textured surface for a non-slip grip, are available powder or powder-free for added comfort, and are examination-grade for some models.
Dipped gloves. These gloves provide extra protection against cuts and scrapes as well as solvents, acids, and petrochemicals. The gloves have a durable knit lining and are coated with PVC, neoprene, and unsupported nitrile. Selected models also have a raised textured surface for additional grip and extended length for additional protection to the arms.
Electric gloves. Made of natural rubber, SAS Safety Corp electric service gloves provide excellent insulation, flexibility, and strength while remaining lightweight and comfortable even with prolonged use. For exceptionally demanding applications, gloves made of reinforced goatskin leather are also available. All gloves are tested to comply with Class 00-4 and ASTM D120 requirements.
Tool/professional gloves. Ideal for packaging, assembly, auto mechanics, and tool handling, SAS Safety MX Series gloves provide industry protection against blisters, cuts, and abrasion. The fingers and knuckles are further protected with injection-molded rubber, while a breathable, form-fitting stretch nylon top ensures a comfortable fit. Selected models are also fitted with a proprietary liner for added water and wind resistance.
Respirators
Respirators are designed to prevent you from breathing in harmful dust and other particulates, gases, smoke, vapor, and sprays. SAS Safety Corp offers diverse respiratory protection options ranging from simple particulate masks to complete supplied-air systems.
Particulate respirators. Simple and affordable, these respirators filter out dust and fumes and are suitable for less harmful environments. It is available in N95, R95, and P100-type designs with or without valves.
Dual cartridge. SAS Safety Corp dual cartridge respirators offer a higher degree of respiratory protection while remaining comfortable to use. These respirators have a large sealing surface and an advanced yoke design that ensures a secure on-slip fit. These also accept industry-standard particulate filters and vapor cartridges for ease of use and installation.
Supplied-air systems. For applications where the surrounding air is just far too dangerous to breathe in, SAS Safety Corp supplied-air respirator (SAR) systems draw in air from an external air source that’s independent of the hazardous environment. These systems range from compact, half-face supplied-air respirators to two-man systems with hoods that cover the entire head. Their flexible, modular design also supports personal air coolers, heaters, CO monitors, and more for added comfort and safety.
Eyewear
A lot of workplace accidents involve eye-related injuries, including chemical splashes, steam burns, UV/infrared exposure, and flying wood or metal fragments. SAS Safety Corp’s line of protective eyewear is engineered to prevent or minimize harm from eye injuries and includes premium features for added comfort and functionality.
Safety glasses. Made of thick, high-impact molded polycarbonate, SAS Safety Corp’s ANSI-compliant safety glasses provide adequate eye protection against flying fragments and ultraviolet rays. The glasses also feature an anti-fog and scratch-resistant lens coating, a padded non-slip nose piece and pads, and a wrap-around frame for a snug fit. Selected models can also be worn with prescription glasses.
Safety goggles. These goggles have a protective seal that helps them stay in place and prevent particles, dust, paint, and splashes from entering the eye area. Peel-off lens covers also allow for a faster clean-up in case of overspray. All goggles are also tested to meet ANSI Z87.1+ standards.
Hi-Viz Gear
SAS Safety Corp’s hi-visibility workwear and gear line include safety vests, jackets, sweatshirts, and pants. These are all designed for all-day and all-weather use and comply with ANSI standards.
Safety vests. Designed for use in areas exposed to traffic and moving vehicles, SAS Safety Corp safety vests have exceptionally bright yellow and orange colors and 2-inch wide reflective tape for conspicuous visibility no matter the time of day. The vests are made of lightweight and breathable polyester mesh with a zipper or hook and loop closure. Selected models are also treated with flame retardant.
Traffic cones. SAS Safety Corp safety cones are made of injection-molded PVC for superior durability and flexibility in any weather. The cones are also treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and have a specially designed cleated base that prevents them from being toppled over by strong winds. Collapsible models are also available for hassle-free transport and storage.
Hearing Protection
SAS Safety Corp also manufactures various protection products to prevent hearing loss and reduce noise. Each hearing protection product is ergonomically designed to be comfortable to wear over prolonged periods.
Ear plugs. Made of soft foam or silicone, SAS Safety Corp ear plugs are a budget-friendly option that effectively reduces noise exposure. Depending on the model, the plugs can shield against noise levels ranging from 23 to 32 decibels.
Earmuffs. For serious hearing protection, SAS Safety Corp makes earmuffs that can protect against noise levels of up to 30 dB. The earmuffs are made of lightweight synthetic material with optional features including foldable frames and a built-in digital AM/FM radio.
