The hose is also treated for chemical and abrasion resistance and has a heavy duty jacketing that protects against fractures and gives a familiar rubber feel. Other features include pre-applied thread sealant, extra long spring for strain relief and kink protection, and Phillips’ proprietary Power Grip brass handle. All Phillips Industries air assemblies comply with relevant DOT and SAE requirements.

Gladhands
The Phillips Qwik-E gladhand connector sets itself apart from the competition with a user-friendly design that makes it easier to service while maintaining an airtight seal. The connector combines the gladhand and quick-release valve, making it faster to release the air lines by up to 50% compared to conventional methods. Its housing is made from tough anodized steel with a cold rolled steel detent plate for added wear resistance. The gladhand is OEM and SAE-compliant and suitable for both ABS and non-ABS applications, although specialty versions such as latched, swinger, shutoff, and dummy gladhands are also available.
Compression fittings
Phillips compression fittings are available in various tube and pipe sizes and configurations to accommodate common air line connections. The fittings are made of either high-quality brass or have lighter but still durable composite construction of brass, plastic, and other materials. Selected models also have sealant pre-applied for fast and convenient installation.
Cables
Phillips also offers trailer and battery cables and primary wiring. The cables have a concentric jacket design that provides consistent abrasion resistance and are made of advanced polymers with exceptionally high resistance against UV exposure, acids, fuels, and other types of chemicals. Battery cables also have a rope-style stranding for increased flexibility while primary wire products have SAE-grade GPT wire with soft annealed copper conductors for general purpose use. All cables and wires are also designed to be easy to strip and are color-coded for ease of identification.

Phillips manufactures tracker bars, pogo sticks, and other related accessories designed to keep a trailer’s myriad collection of wires, cables, and hoses organized and secured in place while moving. Phillips tracker bars are built to be installed in seconds and allow for easy cable adjustment. Springs are made of heavy gauge galvanized wire for better recoil memory and longer service life. For heavier ABS cables, Phillips pogo sticks feature an extra heavy duty internal spring and mounting bolts that can support such cables with ease.
