Pollak by SMP — commonly called Pollak — is one of the longest-standing manufactures of electronic components and accessories in the transportation industry. Pollak has been making electronic pieces, parts, and hardware for just about as long as trucking has been a thing. With a history as long as that and a product catalogue to boot, it's easy to see why Pollak has become a favorite among truckers, repairpeople, and technicians the world over.

Pollak by SMP was founded in 1909 with a noble goal in mind: to provide the transportation industry with high-quality, innovative, and reliable designs. As the years went by, the company's product line changed significantly but never deviated from that goal. By the end of the 20th century, Pollak had amassed countless contracts and partnerships with distributors, sales networks, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Today, Pollak has an international presence with over 1,000 employees and multiple manufacturing locations totaling over 250 thousand square feet of space. That space and the expertise of the company's vast employee network combine to create ample in-house testing opportunities, manufacturing lines, and innovative designs.
