Headquartered in Munich, Germany, the HAWE Hydraulik is a global leader in the manufacture of hydraulic power packs, pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and other accessories. Its humble beginnings can be traced back a few years after World War II when Karl Heilmeier and Wilhelm Weinlein started manufacturing hydraulic apparatus. First known as Heilmeier & Weinlein, the company began its operations modestly in a workshop and storage rooms that occupied a space of 100 sq. meters and two offices in 30 sq. meters. Its initial success could be attributed to the first major order for its highly developed radial piston pump. This breakthrough allowed Heilmeier & Weinlein to grow its business exponentially, and it later became known as HAWE Hydraulik. 

HAWE, which was derived from German phonetic spelling of the initial letters of Heilmeier and Weinlein, officially inaugurated its largest production facility with an area of more than 30,000 square meters in 2014. The move was necessary to accommodate its growing customer base. It also employed more people and utilized technological advancements to ensure HAWE Hydraulics products would stand out from the competition and would be able to deliver unmatched solutions. Today, this mid-sized, internationally active family business continues to create highly reliable hydraulics parts that are rigorously tested to ensure durability, leak-tightness, ruggedness, compactness, and longer service life.
