Richmond GL-4 Multi-Purpose Petroleum Gear Oil is formulated to provide outstanding protection under adverse conditions. For use in transaxles and transmissions where specified. Will not harm brass, bronze, copper and other soft metals used in synchronizers, bushings and other components typically found in classic manual transmissions and transaxles from Richmond, Borg-Warner, Muncie, New Process, Saginaw, etc. Richmond GL-4 Multi-Purpose Petroleum Gear Oil contains no friction modifiers. It can also be used in automotive, light and commercial truck heavy duty differentials, where applicable. It is not compatible with synthetic oils or additives.
