The SR-2 Trailer Spring Brake Control Valve is designed for use in the trailer air brake system.
It employs a dedicated spring brake reservoir for release of the trailer springbrakes.
The SR-2 valve controls both the parking and emergency brake functions of the springbrakes.
By using integral pressure protection and check valves, it isolates reservoir failures, preventing automatic application of the trailer springbrakes.
